Howdy folks, had the pleasure of taking four kids ages 6-10 out for a nature walk and fossil hunt here on the ranch this AM. Great kids and I'm just a big ole kid myself so it was really fun. Good hunting with lots of cool snails including one giant moon snail about five inches long, oyster, clams, our first stromatolite specimen, and a broken ammonite. In addition, my wife found me a nice one laying right on the surface after our flash flood. I know it ain't fancy like some of you find but these are super rare on the ranch mainly because they break up real fast. Anyway, here's a pic, uncleaned but it does show the sutures...Mel
