I am still working out my wraps and I am making progress, which is a relief! This is Charoite, wrapped in Sterling Silver. I wrapped this today as a graduation present for my son's girlfriend. It is the first stone I have tried to wrap in 24gauge wire. 24gauge is pretty darn thin to my poor eyesight lol.   It is one of the smallest wraps I have tried so far and uses four wires for the bezel. Working with the thin wires took a lot longer than I had thought it would. It seemed like they wanted to bend by simply breathing on them. The bindings and bail binding I never did see much better than a blur until I photographed it and zoomed in.. |

beautiful cab and the wrap is great too. I am sure it will be well received.
I have done a handful of really small wraps but I still used 20 gauge main wires. I just did a cab and wrap today for a gift. I'll get it posted soon.

It is nice Roger. I am not a big wrap fan, but that is good. There are no noticeable tool marks on wire, and proportion of bail is nice. Square wire was also a good choice. The lines are very clean. I think the 4 loops on bail was also a good choice. Silver really works well with purple too.

Roger that's one magical wrap. Been reading up more on the origins and healing powers of rocks.
The word CHARY means Magic. CHAROITE great for self esteem , peace and love . relieves headaches .
minerals include potassium calcium and sodium .
