I'm afraid that's not really an estate sale. I'm pretty sure that's the dealer who's been doing a traveling roadshow with rocks. The same one there was a discussion about on a thread here a few weeks back when he was in Florida. He's also appeared in Atlanta, one or two cities in Texas and other areas around the country that I've seen ads for. It appears he just rents a place to set up, and usually advertises on Craigslist but wants people to contact him to get the exact location. In the ad he placed that appeared in the Athens, GA Rock and Gem Club newsletter his name was listed as David and is email as Rocktrading@aol.com , although on the net his phone number (214) 901-3872 is listed as being with a business in Dallas, TX called Cementjobs.net. www.athensrockandgemclub.org/docs/2015-03_dops.pdfwww.zoominfo.com/c/Cement-Jobs.Net/367232022Larry C. |

Guy had one of his craiglsist ads running in the Jacksonville Florida ads for some time. "Sale" was in April but the ad was pulled in the past 3 days. Used all the same pictures.
When I contacted him about the sale his name was Darrel. I don't believe a word of it.

If you click on kap's link & scroll to the bottom, I recognize several of the pics from ebay listings by several sellers. I've bid on a couple of the minerals. The guy seems to be pirating pics from other folks adds.

jakesrocks and captbobI was actually in Memphis this morning and was about 18min away from this hotel and decided to swing in and see. Sure enough there was a rock sale (not an auction). I'll post pics once I get home. All the spheres had 'made in China/Mexico' stickers and all the prices were really high.
