Howdy folks, Well yesterday I cut Rios while I was cutting weeds in the yard. It was, unfortunately, one of those days when all the agates looked good on the outside but were crappy to ehhh on the inside. Here are a few pics: This is decent moss but not colorful enough for good Rios so I only cut a couple of slabs. This one looked to be good black plume or sagenite but was all full of holes and soft spots inside. What a waste! Finally, this is a form of peanut agate and these are little geodes inside red jasper. I kind of like it but the geodes are kind of vugs and don't look too good to cab. Just one for the endcut tub.

Story of my life - I get all excited about some things I've found and I think about cutting them the whole way home - just to find yet another dud on the saw. You'll bounce back with the next round - your material is too nice to have too many "ehhh" days in a row.

Mel, some days you win, some you lose. What Tommy said, the next ones are bound to be better. Gotta be...
Thanks for posting all your Rios, great eye candy!
