Shed find. Found a couple more in boxes but they'll require some assembly. Please ignore the ancient tape job, I need to figure a better way to keep it intact. Suggestions welcome.

They have some great sealants and glue on the market now.....Nice Scaphite..............

Scaphite. Thanks for the ID.
I'll look into glue for the disassembled ones. I'm tempted not to touch this one because it appears fairly solid and I'm afraid it'll come apart if I fiddle with the tape.

I see it has a much smaller Scaphite with it too,in the matrix.....

neat! the ancient tape weirded me out, couldn't figure out what it was til I read the description. nice detail in that!

Neat! Have not heard of scaphite before, tims, and pretty cool that Fossilman spotted the smaller one on its matrix. Where is it from?

I saw that little guy but wasn't sure it was also scaphite.
Ginger, I'm not sure where this was found. I aquired a large and varied collection but it's completely undocumented. I'm trying to sort and salvage everything but there's a definite learning curve involved, so I appreciate all the helpful input.
