I have found some old glass marbles in my garden over the years. They have scratch marks from going through the tiller seversl times. Could I use a rock tumble to polish these back in good condition. Thanks dlowe

Your best bet would be to use a small sphere machine. Many of the old marbles had internal stress fractures from the cooling process. By tumbling them you may break them. A sphere machine will not only remove the scratches, but will also return them to perfectly round condition.
Many of the older marbles can be quite valuable to those who collect them. You certainly don't want to risk doing more damage to them.
