If you find yourself in the Billings, Montana area, A friend just told me about a brand new rock shop. Bob / mtmadman, a member on here just called me to tell me that he's gone into partnership with another guy to open a rock shop. They are located at 1625 Old Hardin rd, Lockwood, Montana. For those who know him, Bob is a heck of a nice guy. A heavy haul trucker by trade, and is looking towards retirement and working with rocks & rockhounds. So far, Bob & his partner only have a facebook page, Therockshop. Future plans are for selling on ebay, as well as from the shop.

As a personal friend, I'm wishing Bob great success in this new endeavor, and a well deserved rest from the long hours & miles on the road.

Other than being a personal friend of Bob, I'm in no way attached to this new rock shop.

I would frequent a store there also when I am up that way.

There is another rock and mineral store opened recently out on west 24th that I have not frequented because one of the owners is good at throwing his friends under a bus. Letting a friend take the blame for him cheating on his wife while out of town. And yes, that tells you a little bit about his wife's mental state also.
