Howdy folks, been throwing the more interesting pieces of pet wood the kiddoes bring in into a pile and I now have enough for a 20+ pound box of good cutting material. This is all river tumbled stuff and quite solid and well replaced with silica. Only the hardest hunks tend to survive all that river transport. Rio Grande wood tends to be one of the more colorful Texas varieties. Couple hunks are earth tones with interesting patterns but most are very colorful. A ten inch saw will cut most the pieces. Only get a little wood in each pile the kids bring in, so it take me awhile to build up enough to sell for them.
