Being a slabbing newbie I had multiple mishaps with slipped rocks. I removed the blade once and hammered it and then a rock came off a board. I tried hammering it again and there was too much wobble to keep the blade from binding. I replaced my 16" mk301 with a 14" mk303. Most of my rough is small. I got the blade and 5 gallons of oil from Covington the blade price was good and I was able to combine shipping with the oil.

I feel your pain. I had a rock slip a couple weeks ago and bind the blade. May try to hammer it out, have to decide how to proceed.
