I've used it a lot for getting that last few slabs; I use a hot plate outside, separates off in a few minutes with boiling water.

I've used water glass and plan to get some more. Never had a problem with it holding in the saw or popping off after soaking in water overnight!

Thanks for the info. I bought a gallon. I'm not too disappointed that I wrecked my blade. It ate too much material. I don't want to ruin the next one. I don't have any rough now that needs a 16" blade. Most of the Montana I got doesn't lend itself to the Covington vise. I'm going to do most of my cutting using 2x4 after I get a flat surface to glue. Once the rock is glued I can rotate the angle of the cut by rotating the board.
