A couple different granites I have found locally. I wish I could find the main source of this stuff so I could replace my counter tops LOL.
I call this "lightning bolt stone". It is a harder than marble and works up real nicely into cabs. I have found a couple shells and crinoid pieces in this stuff, so I am thinking it is highly silicated limestone.
Not sure what this is. Probably silicated host rock if some sort, maybe bog.
