That little pond got stocked with a pregnant 11 pound bass for the most part. Caught it in the neighbors pond and ATV'ed it over to mine.
My pond was off balance and full of tiny bream for many years Brad. Added about 4 more one pound bass from neighbors pond.
Now it has a balance population of varied bass. Many in the 4-6 pound range. In 4 years time.

A theory. This little pond is half surrounded by tall bamboo. The bamboo is a super frog attractant, obvious from the loud frogs sounds emanating from it.
I think the frog population supplies lots of food to the bass. Moral to story, maybe fishing a pond surround by bamboo is a great idea.

I think I am going to remove the hooks off the lure so Doris does not get caught. Denise may get me if I hook her.
Fun just watching them bust the lure. Bass population thriving in that tiny pond.
