Was just wondering when we were going to get a pupdate, jamesp. Couple more weeks before they go to their new homes?

as usual I love your dog photos.
So yeah, looks like I am adopting a 14-15 year old Beagle dog that is my aunt and uncles. Long story. Helping them out. Plus I have known the dog since a pup. Cool dog. Don't know how much longer he has to live, Im assuming not long, but I will spoil the crap out of him. He has been a full time outside dog. I have hundreds of acres of fields and woods, ponds, lake for him to keep his tail wagging.

jamesp I thought all your mamas were retired from breeding? Wife co-owns other females and breeds them too. That way they live a good life as a pet in someone else's home and only come to this house to get bred and have pups Jimi.

Was just wondering when we were going to get a pupdate, jamesp. Couple more weeks before they go to their new homes? Today is week 5 and the little piranhas get to go outside. They are fighting like pit dogs and loud. Two will walk over to a sleeping one and each will grab an ear each and start tugging. Talk about screaming. All that racket will be unheard by tomorrow.

Plenty of dogs at the Humane Society that need homes.

No wonder movies are about to be made there

Piranhas! I love it, so descriptive. Amazing that their sweet puppy breath comes past those little daggers. They sure do have some sharp little toofers. James, didn't you just say a couple weeks ago -
The quietest Mom and litter of pups I've every seen.
Ha ha, I guess there are varying degrees of quiet, lol. Guess now that they are outside, you can drag them around in a tub, make some puppy pyramids...

I wouldn't say you need shot. You do a great job of raising those pups and seem to find folks that spoil them.

Thank you, James! Better audio in this video, no soap opera dialog or phone call background, or talk of fine outfits, honeybun. (I guess I had the volume off when I watched that first video, lol. Thanks for pointing that out captbob!) If I had to live in that southern sweatbox I'd probably not be wearing a lot of clothing, either...
Five weeks, huh? Now that they've started solid food, they will get weaned soon? And for the record, they are NOT ugly, they are sweet. Ah, but now the troublemaking begins!
Those puppies sure would like to get out of that prison cell. Is there one that is smarter than the others? Calculating? That's the one that will escape somehow. Go find momma, corner her and suckle to hearts content. We had a puppy do that once during weaning. What a porky little glutton she was! When older, she figured out how to turn a doorknob, and let herself into the house.
And Brad, good on you to take in the old Beagle. 14 - 15 years, it probably doesn't have a lot of time left, but I'm sure you'll make its remaining days happy, and spoil the heck out of it!

Only a mother could love them. She is pacing back and forth looking for her pups. They are on TV closed circuit. They scream and she looks up and around to find them. Need to turn the volume down so not to tease her. There pen will be defoliated in a few days. They are like hogs when it comes to clearing brush.
Probably no escaping puppy Alcatrez out there. There little egg shell minds are blown away by the larger space. They are still bundled up in a blob pit fighting. They will grow like weeds now.

ROFL, jamesp, enjoyed reading about the puppy tales and watching your latest vids. Happy bunch! Has the Beagle arrived at your place yet, bhiatt? Please post pics of him! That is great that you offered to adopt him from your aunt and uncle and that he has known you since he was a pup. I hope that will make it an easy adjustment for him. I know he'll love you and his new home! Wags are good!! We adopted a "older" 5-year-old cat from the Shelter when I worked at our local Humane Society. It took him a little time to adjust, and he's doing great now. Spoiled rotten. Also have a Corgi-mix adopted from the Shelter and a Rat Terrier that was given to us.

James, what is the box that the pups are imprisoned? Just kidding about being imprisoned. I remember seeing their mom in it, too? Is it something you made? Thank you, jamesp! Also feed a bob-tailed female feral kitty. Her name is Miss Opalite Squeaky. She hangs out with our dogs on our deck most of the day. She has been accepted into their pack, but she's a bit cautious of our Corgi-mix, Heidi. I've been feeding our neighbors tuxedo cat, Pepper, since his boy has neglected him since there's more fun things to do like ride dirt bikes, play football and basketball with our neighborhood kids. The poor cat used to follow the boy like a puppy. One day when I was pulling up weeds out of the rock garden, he bit the fire out of the top of my hand because I was not paying attention to him. He's a full-fledged tomcat.
