James, what is the box that the pups are imprisoned? Just kidding about being imprisoned. I remember seeing their mom in it, too? Is it something you made? Thank you, jamesp! Also feed a bob-tailed female feral kitty. Her name is Miss Opalite Squeaky. She hangs out with our dogs on our deck most of the day. She has been accepted into their pack, but she's a bit cautious of our Corgi-mix, Heidi. I've been feeding our neighbors tuxedo cat, Pepper, since his boy has neglected him since there's more fun things to do like ride dirt bikes, play football and basketball with our neighborhood kids. The poor cat used to follow the boy like a puppy. One day when I was pulling up weeds out of the rock garden, he bit the fire out of the top of my hand because I was not paying attention to him. He's a full-fledged tomcat. That is a whelping box. The shelf keeps the Mom from pinning the pups against the wall and crushing them. Cats can do that bite thing. Demanding little cusses. The family cat used to bite Mom on the leg if she did not feed it.

oh, okay, thanks, jamesp! I've never seen a whelping box. (duh moment, lol). Yes, those cats will do the darndest things to get your attention. ROFL that a cat used to nip your mom on the leg when it wanted to be fed. Max knocks over a vase of dry flowers that sits on the floor in our living room when he wants to be fed. or he screams, I mean meows very loudly. He will also come get me when he wants water. I have to pick him up so he can quench his thirst and place him on the front bathroom counter. He refuses to drink water anywhere else. He'll turn 13 years old in November. Here's Max in his mineral ca tbinet: ETA: ROFL at his eyes in this pic. Like he knows he is not supposed to be in there.

ROFL, jamesp, enjoyed reading about the puppy tales and watching your latest vids. Happy bunch! So yeah, looks like I am adopting a 14-15 year old Beagle dog that is my aunt and uncles. Long story. Helping them out. Plus I have known the dog since a pup. Cool dog. Don't know how much longer he has to live, Im assuming not long, but I will spoil the crap out of him. He has been a full time outside dog. I have hundreds of acres of fields and woods, ponds, lake for him to keep his tail wagging. Has the Beagle arrived at your place yet, bhiatt? Please post pics of him! That is great that you offered to adopt him from your aunt and uncle and that he has known you since he was a pup. I hope that will make it an easy adjustment for him. I know he'll love you and his new home! Wags are good!! We adopted a "older" 5-year-old cat from the Shelter when I worked at our local Humane Society. It took him a little time to adjust, and he's doing great now. Spoiled rotten. Also have a Corgi-mix adopted from the Shelter and a Rat Terrier that was given to us. no. If he does end up coming here I will show photos. Nothing to brag about just an old beagle dog.lol
