Here are a few I did a month ago, this first one is called I believe, Mexican crazy lace: This is in silver-filled 21 ga (that's all Rio Grande had). There are lots of marks on the wire because this was not the original design. I totally redid it because I didn't like my first design. I knew this re-do would be badly scratched and that I'd scrap it but I just had to take a pic of it anyway before it's re-done again. This next one is an agate in silver filled also, that I will re-do. I don't like the front where the wire is across the front of it, it made the binding on the right side look sloppy. Plus I'm not crazy about the design in relation to the shape of the stone. Another agate, silver filled. This one is 'dichroic' ?? glass or something like that..in 22 ga gold filled. I love this one. Hope you enjoy them.

I am with fossilman on this one thumbs up I like the swirls I think that they go with the stones. Are you tumbling them with steel shot yet?

Very nice. I like the look of the wire coming across the front on the second one but as you said it makes the binding bulky and pulls the main wires away from the stone creating a gap.

Those all look great. Yes on the first being crazy lace but I think the two you call agates could be jaspers. Also yes on dichroic glass for the last one. I really like the gold filled wire with the dichroic. Keep in mind sometimes the rock dictates the wrap no matter what design you have in mind and that's ok too. Someone once told me that a wrap doesn't have to be perfect, it is handmade after all and minor imperfections add to the character of the piece.

Yes, Diane, I was in a hurry typing out my post and didn't' stop to think they could be jaspers. You would know, they came from you, lol! I totally forgot to mention that in my first post but I'm glad you recognized them. I still have a few more to do, but with company coming for a few days for 4th of July , plus we are getting 2 new cats today and tomorrow, I won't be able to wrap for a bit. I really want to, though. I keep looking at my wire wrapping case, and the new sterling silver wire in it, but nope, don't have time to start a wrap. Actually, giving lots of love to the new kitties is first
