I'm to the point to where I just toss it all (mine gets really bad),it's just to much trouble to capture a quart or so from a two and half gallon clean out....

That was what I used to do when I was using free used transmission and motor oil. That heavy stuff just doesn't separate. I found out the transmission oil is specially blended to keep the wear and tear in suspension. Not what I want at all. rockpowell converted me over to vet mineral oil. Drain some from the bottom often and you can save most of it.

That's what I use too-but mine is goo,when it gets changed out..I can see doing this with the bigger saws with a deeper well,saves lots of cash.....Thumbs up
