Your always good for some eye candy and partly responsible for my growing piles. Someday I'll have to actually do something productive with them.

Great entries Kurt, I always enjoy your eye candy. Good luck with the competition. Cheers Thank you. No worries about "competition". Its more about finding out what contests are looking for, and how it compares with other entries. I'm not a finish-freak, so I'm sure to be miles behind other entries. Your always good for some eye candy and partly responsible for my growing piles. Someday I'll have to actually do something productive with them. Thank you. Now lets see you getting started, collecting is fine, but creating is better (even if things turn to dust and rubble from time to time )

Congratulations! Simply being part of such a contest is a great achievement. I like your entries, especially the dolphins. Is the snail part of the creation (used as a support on which you stuck the dolphins, maybe)?

Is the snail part of the creation (used as a support on which you stuck the dolphins, maybe)? Adrian Thank you Adrian, it means a lot coming from such an accomplished artist as yourself. The snail is just there for display-purposes. Eventually the piece will be strung up with pearls, but did not find the money in time to have a good clasp added as in the moment everything s geared to be saved for a trip home next month. Thats how it should look like when really done:

Awesome! I love what you have done, Kurt. The mermaid piece is so fluid and beautiful. It is definitely my favorite of the two. I love it with the stick pearls, too. That will be a good look for it. Good luck in the contest!!! I have a feeling your mermaid will be a popular hit.
