A small specimen that i found in the SMS rockpile, a few years ago, when we were moving the shop: www.flickr.com/photos/36618387@N06/19205673019/At that point, everything was free to members who were helping and $0.50/lb to the general public. One of our members walked off with a gorgeous 50lb. jade boulder suiseki. Another found a primo piece of kinradite with red orbs in clear agate. Enjoy

The piece of jade that you are wondering if it is Guatemala looks a lot like a piece I have from that area. Rind is even the right color. Jim

Well, that would be interesting. Like I said, it was mainly wishful thinking. When I bought the collection, I was told that the gentleman and his wife hounded "all over the west, in the 60s, 70s and 80s" and that the material was self-collected. I imagine that they did purchase some of it, and that it's possible that they went on an international trip. Thanks for the feedback.
