One of Rick's co-workers, Gene, brought a large box of rock goodies to me a couple of years ago. There were a pair of fairly large beryl xtals that look similar to the material found at the Hogg mine here in LaGrange to me. Gene was not sure where the rocks came from. Not sure, but do y'all think these are from the Hogg? Thanks! Here's a piece of rock xtal quartz that was found at the KIA plant in West Point, Georgia. Quartz found at KIA plant in West Point, GA

yep, looks like Hogg beryl. Beryllium ore, mined in WW2.
