My saw is starting to aggravate me. The blade needs to be dressed way to quickly. I've got a 1" thick slab of pet wood that I wanted to slice and it stopped cutting half way through. This small Montana piece stopped cutting in the middle of the fourth slab and the blade was dressed prior to cutting. I'll call Covington tomorrow. I have used a number of 10" MK 301 and 303 blades. I do like the 301 much better. That being said, I have found a difference between almost every blade I have ordered at different times, as in a 301 bought at one time and a 301 bought latter. I have one 301 that doesn't cut worth s--t unless it is dressed very often. it does not make any sense but it is what it is. Wish I knew what brand of blade was on my 18" saw when I got it because it looked about shot when I got it and it was the best cutting blade I ever had on it and it made many cuts before it gave up............................MrP

My saw came with a 16" old American made mk301. I wrecked it but that didn't bother me much because it ate too much material and I was able to cut all my large pieces. I cut quite a bit of Montana with the replacement 14" mk303 and it looks good and cut good until recently. If I don't get any suggestions from Covington, I'll get a MK301. They are only about $150 delivered from Amazon. The 303 is only a month old.

Nice Montana agate......I usually run a batch of obsidian through my blade,it helps out,or you might have to get someone to get those diamonds to stand out more for ya... I have the MK 303,have cut 100's of rock with it and dress it a few times and it's good to go....Good luck...
