They just inhaled that food!! Amazing how fast puppies grow, really. They're so much bigger already! Are they all sold?

Feeding frenzy! That'll get 'em in shape. Dang, I got a workout just watching them! No blood drawn? Imagine if one of them got nipped, they'd be like sharks smelling blood in the water. I'll bet you haven't lost one yet to overzealous feeding, lol.

Many are repeat buyers over many years. They may only weigh 8 pounds average, but eat more than the 75 pound adults. Never fails to amaze-their growth rate.

I'll bet you haven't lost one yet to overzealous feeding, lol. Other breeders/bloodlines much calmer at feeding time. I believe it is because we put them outside at 5 weeks where they have a choice of going outside. Or going into a climate controlled structure. But they have freedom of choice instead of staying in the house for 8-9 weeks. They are much more wiry and feisty than the pups we see that are raised inside. And seem to end up being very athletic as adults. But still do not like them eating in such a frenzy, and cannot figure a way to avoid it.

More than one dish should solve the problem ! You would think, but they always attack one dish as if jealous of the others. If separated into groups yes.

That is a feeding frenzy! As Jean says "like sharks".
What if you used a long rectangular bowl instead of a round bowl? Separate bowls? I suspect they would have the same problem, but I think it's fun for them.

Saw a concept with a big hump in the center of large bowl leaving a narrow trough around the edge. The pups go in circles around it in a funny circular train.

Do they go counterclockwise in the Southern hemisphere lilacmoth ? That is too dang funny! I have seen the bowls for use by just one dog to get them to slow down when eating. Don't know if they have somethink like that for a feeding frenzied flock of fidos...
