I've been a rockhound since I was a kid. Just casual though. I've been getting back into it recently. Being in Utah, there is no shortage of places to go searching . I spend a lot of my weekends during the summer out wandering the mountains and deserts looking for rocks.

If you were hounding in Kentucky in the summer you'd be changing your mind real quick. Oh, the troubles of dense vegetation and the plagues of ticks and chiggers and sandflies and spiders, gosh.
Anyhow, welcome, good to see you live in Utah! Always wanted to visit there.
