About 25 pots left in a 5' X 5' tank, leftover from the plant season. The roots spread and made a sod matt in the past month. A fern. From S. America, very prolific creating much biomass. Would guess it to be a old primitive fern. www.smgrowers.com/products/plants/plantdisplay.asp?plant_id=2668guessed that it is a freak, only one species of Regnellidium on earth- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regnellidium2' X 5' section, about all I can lift when wet. Bottom side Flipped over, green side up as they say in the sod biz Close up, also known as 'butt cheeks' Trimmed pot shows encapsulations that leaves emerge from. Millipedes by the thousands under the shade of the leaves. Rank smell from millipedes when trimming(REALLY RANK), especially when the razor knife cuts thru them. sorry millipedes Pots after trimming and biomass removed, guessing 200 pounds from 25 pots.(bench w/muddy water) storm came along and cooled the(120F/100% humidity) greenhouse, thank you. Trees a leaning Regnellidium fossil, probably not common, betcha even jakesrocks ain't got one(yet)

A variegated one, a green one, and a green one with split leaves. And all of them will sure enough take a large body of water over. All family Marsilea I believe. Should all be on the noxious plant list.
