Okay. I've messed around for a couple days trying to post photos. When I try to add attachments here...I get error messages saying my file is too large....but I have no problem loading my profile pic, and it has the same size requirement? ? I'll keep trying. anyway, I made my profile pic a stone that I found a few weeks ago at western Lake Michigan shore. I don't want to polish it w/o finding out what it is because I'm afraid it may shrink down to far. Wish I could load more photos of it. It's very unusual. Shades of blue running thru it..almost like sections pieced together. Any ideas would be much appreciated.... thanks, jennifer

hi jenb, this forum throws everyone off when it comes to posting photos. you cannot post photos directly into the forum. you can only link from external sources such as photobucket, etc. if you search the forum you can find some posts that detail how to copy the correct link once you have your photos on another site. you basically just find the link that begins and ends with . hope this gets you started in the right direction! ~roland

Here's your photo copied from your avatar and uploaded to photobucket. I cut and pasted the linkage for the last (IMG) box. Tom Whoops same size. Its a challenge now. Here is an attempt at enlargement. If I had to guess, I'd say flint or chert.
