Hi! Daughter-Father team here from the Canadian Prairies. Dad formerly took some geology classes at university 35+ years ago, and myself - the kid- formerly took jewelry making while at art school 10+ years ago. I've since picked back up jewelry making in the last few years, and now want to move into cutting my own stones. Knowing this is something Dad has always liked to collect -rocks/gems/minerals-, I've hooked him in to going along for this adventure. So here we are!

Sounds like a great combo to me. Part of the joy of rocks is sharing the excitement and feeling with others. Welcome. Tom
