It is a pacific green tree frog. They come in green, tan and like this one, which is a bit more rare. Usually just green.

This fellow (Bufosorta ceramicus) used to reside in my yard, out by the pond.
Until I was moving a big rock and accidentally dropped it on him and broke him

neat pictures !
On my rides up north 87 Beeline there was a huge rock that looked like a frog I'd always point it out to the kiddies Frog Rock I called it
unfortunately I don't have a picture and I believe road construction/bridge work as well... maybe its no longer exist or the curve of the road doesn't show its profile any more...

Ed, are you talking this frog?
Excuse the crummy photo, a 70 mph shot (when someone won't stop so you can get a good pic!).
This is along Hwy 89 in AZ on the hill between Congress and Yarnell. Photo taken 11 years ago, no idea if I is still there or not.

Until I was moving a big rock and accidentally dropped it on him and broke him Jean, when I first saw your frog, I thought how huge he was. Curious, I read the name That explained the "broke him", instead of killing him. We've had frogs?/toads? in our yard, but very few.

(Or maybe the only one that cares?) WHATever, makes no nevermind to me, lol.
Pat, he was ("was" being the operative word here) pretty big, about as big across as a basketball.
Always putting special things in the yard, like this guy
Sometimes even gives me pause. And in the front yard
Funny, if I'm out walking and someone asks me where I live, I tell them where the rocks and cactus are. Invariably, they will say, Oh, where the aliens are! Ha!

Jean, love your aliens; the snake --- not so much!
We are the house with the rosy door. Didn't have an alien!
