Here are some pics of some resent slabs to come off the saw. If you can ID them, I'd appreciate it! The first is a picture jasper of some sort. I like the color palette on it: Next up is a slab I really like. The picture doesn't really how green the dots are. The brownish background is a semi-translucent quartz or agate type material with a very fine striped pattern to it. In person, the green dots almost look like they are floating above the background material. Last up, is a nice looking banded slab that I also don't know anything about! Thanks for looking!

First looks a bit like some Oregon "Sunset" jasper I've seen. Second slab is Australian nundorite (green aegerine in a feldspar matrix). Third slab looks like Oregon Polka Dot agate.

#1 looks to be a lower grade grainy example of Oaxaca travertine ( Rolling hills dolomite) #2 is Nundorite from Nundoora Station, Australia ( an older material you don't see much) #3 is Autumn Jasper out of Southern Africa....Mel
PS: There are "autumn jaspers" from other locations too including the US and Australia but that is the African stuff. One of our members used to sell it and I bought a lot I have in my rock pile. Cut another way it has awesome patterns.
