Shhh, don't tell Ed but I am going to Nevada or rather through it. My plan is to go to Mcdermitt to do some rock hounding starting tomorrow. I'll be there for maybe 3 days then head towards Reno. I was going to check out Fallon but don't have much information about that area. Then it's on to Tonopah to maybe get in on a pay dig for turquoise. After that I'm headed to Las Vegas to get some work done on my trailer. If there is anyone in any of those areas who wants to maybe get a cup of coffee, tea, soda, whatever and meet up that would be wonderful. I enjoy meeting other rockhounds and have met a lot of forum members but not all ;-) . My schedule is pretty flexible right now so I figured I'd put the word out and see if I can't at least meet a few more members. Pm me if you want to meet or you can reply to this thread.

Diane, be sure to check the fire reports. I heard rumors this weekend that there was a fire close to Fallon. It is gonna be real smoky in the area for sure. Hope you have a good trip.

I am here in Las Vegas and it is finally starting to cool down. Yesterday was 109F but it is now dropping to the low 100s. By the time you get here it may even be cool enough to go rock hounding.

If I go to Tony and he is too busy to go hounding I will
A. Help him get caught up. B. Camp out at his rock pile. C. Not leave until Chris fixes spagetti. D. Take my time and sit on a bucket and prowl through the dollar a pound pile of rocks. E. Go to the local Chinese restaurant for the TRASH CAN BREAKFAST PLATE every morning. F. Eat tomatoes and beef at said Chinese restaurant! G. Drink gallons of Tonys water, it's the best you ever tasted!!! H. Wait some more for Tony to get caught up. I. Repeat the above as much as is necessary. J. ALL THE ABOVE!!!!!
All right you all can now pick what you think is the correct answer.....

The answer, obviously, is J. ALL OF THE ABOVE. (chuckle)
I mean, what could possibly be more important than hounding rocks?

So Bill, when are you headed this way?
