I haven't followed this thread at all. My favorite band of all time is a band that used to play in Ann Arbor, MI when I was a student there. They never made it big, but they're tons of fun. Here's Frank Allison and the Odd Sox playing at Central Michigan University in 1990.
Unfortunately Frank now has some sort of throat disease. He has started singing again, but his voice isn't anything like what it used to be.

I cannot hear that without thinking of the movie "Soylent Green," lol. Picturing majestic mountains, deer, waves, underwater scenes, etc... sigh. (Note to self - While this beauty still exists, do not take these things for granted.)
Sol's Euthansia (Edward G Robinson's last role.) Prelude to becoming Soylent Green, your final gift to mankind.
I'm not so much into classical music, but that is one I've always appreciated.
Here are a few more songs from my iPod, from back in the day
Eagles - Peaceful Easy Feeling
Fine Young Cannibals - Good Thing
Revolution - Clapton
Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party
