That's funny Ed! When I was thinking about the dead skunk in the middle, I was thinking of photos I had seen where road crews painting a new stripe in the middle of the road did not clean or prep before painting, and just painted over dead animals. Not quite what the Pretenders were thinking of, I'm sure!

This one is definitely in the middle, but he didn't a yellow line painted on him -

mohs , I saw pics of dead possums, raccoons, cats, aramdillos and unidentified road kill with lines painted on them, but no skunks! I did find that photo on the dead skunk in the middle, but he is unpainted, lol.
