Someone shared a bit o' Grinderman. I think this is my favorite by them:
This ain't no Hendrix:
Been comin' back to this for decades:
Sometimes you just need something simple and visceral:
Or a Russian guy going from haunting to footstompin' in 6 minutes:
Sooooo much great stuff out there. Thanks for a great thread. (Btw I was tickled to see Gary Numan to start it off!)

Eric Burdon and War - Spill the Wine I have that one on my iPod, no kidding! Takes me back to summer school at the end of seventh grade. My sister and I took an art class together, and that was one of many songs current at the time. The experience, everything about it, was a blast! Jean

Eric Burden & War was one of the first album I lifted my 8 year old nephew knocked a glass of wine off the table top he felt bad & parents gave an annoyed look I told him spill the wine dig that girl laughing and to always remember that phrase cause some day he'll understand I saw him not long ago he's about 11 still no clue but it will come to him mulling over the great conundrums

Mohs, you lifted it? How heavy was it?
Was this the start of your life of crime? I'm sure pretty much everybody pinches something when they are young. The key is make sure the item is worth the risk, and you don't get caught.
Then you grow older, you mature, you get a job, become responsible, and you don't need to do that kind of crap anymore. Right? I said, RIGHT? Lol. Once the stealing phase is done, you can move onto throwing rocks... Batter up!

uuuuuummmmmmmm.... i meant lift the needle on to the licorice pizza Sorry, mohs. Can you see where my brain is today?
Seriously, I thought you were talking about lift, as in: pilfer, snatch (one of George Carlin's words, lol), kype, misappropriate, swipe, nab, purloin, rip-off, liberate... Ah, you get the drift.
Mohs and vinyl... There used to be deejay on KGB (a classic rock station here in San Diego) on and off over the years. His name is Jim McInnis. Besides being a rocking deejay (the man can spin some tunes!), he's also well known for his extensive personal vinyl collection. Had a show nights that he drew from that collection. The name of the show was the "Vinyl Resting Place."
I don't always listen to live radio, but when I do, it has to be Classic Rock, and it has got to be KGB.
Carry on, Mohs.
