RIP Phil Lesh
Once upon a time in 1983 I went to see the Dead in Seattle Washington
It was a cool show With a Nice Girl Standing next to me...

I don't remember how many times I saw the Dead, but isn't that the point? This one was especially non-memorable, that's good, right? I looked for myself, but would I recognize him?

Rockoonz Wish I could have seen them more than I did. You guys in the Northwest were able to see some really great shows...and long hot ones in the summer. Don't talk about it much anymore but years ago I began trading cassette tapes of Dead shows with others. I later switched to trading DAT tapes (Digital Audio Tapes), CDR and DVDR's of shows. I don't listen to them often now but have in my collection over 1,200 audios and videos of shows. I was a stickler for quality and would get several versions of shows to find the best out there. Belonged to CDead, a "by invitation only" private internet forum devoted to the Grateful Dead. Many of the original recordists and some from more modern days were on the group. Many of the top quality recordings out there have their names attached to them due to the work that was done to restore and enhance them. Saw them here in Columbia SC on October 31, 1985. In keeping with the season here is Werewolves of London, but not from that show as the audience recording isn't all that grate. "Fare Thee Well", Phil Lesh
