Hacked up some rocks-buncha pics

We've managed to get out a few times this summer and we've brought home a rock or seven. When I'm in the shop in the evenings I've been running some of them through the saws just to see what is hiding inside. sometimes it's disappointing, sometimes it makes me all happy and stuff. cleaning up today I took a few pics and thought I'd share some. This is all local, self collected, no-name rocks. Some are sort of cool, though.  Some are small, some are really just end cuts because I wanted to look inside.

These next couple aren't even slabs, they are just pieces I picked up two weeks ago. That was a
"prospecting" trip to see if it would be worth going there again.







These next three little slabs are from the same location.










I kind of figure it may be worth going back there again. What do you think?


One last little end cut. Kind of a cute little thing, I think. Sure wish the parent rock was a lot bigger than it is.
