I will be in Chicago on business the week of September 14th and will have a few hours to kill in the afternoon Monday and Tuesday after I arrive. I was scoping out rock shops in the area and came across this one. Is anyone familiar with Dave's Down to Earth Rock Shop? Is it worth a visit for someone looking for quality slabs or small rough or is it all fancy like it looks in the website picture? Anything else rock related I should know about in the Chicago area? haha |

Yes Scott I hate Tommy.... great wife, great secret rock deposit of beautiful Norenna looking stone, cabs fantastic cabs, wire wraps, has no end of cab composition skill.... Sigh...
But.... he's gonna take me rockhounding! He's my buddy!!!! Oh I forgot he has the killer rockhound!!! I think the dawg found the Norenna look a like stuff!!!
