I am doing a show in Wainfleet Ontario its near Niagara Falls area. Its a old Village that a family renovated called Marshville Heritage Society. All vendors have to dress in the turn of the century period clothes. I am getting someone to make me the coolest outfit, when its done I will post it. Got my ascot and top hat. I will look like a true gentlemen when people come to my booth. So I figured that people are going to the show to see the turn of the century buildings and the craft stuff. All item have to be hand made no China stuff. So I went out and bought some pennies from 1890 to 1910 and gave them some wire. Its on the labor day long week end Sept 5 6 7 . www.marshvilleheritagefestival.com

Quite the bunch there. When I wrap coins I always try to keep the wraps closern to the outside so that I dont cover any pertinent information on the coins.

awesome idea, a penny for luck... with an antique 'twist'. Sounds like that will be a lot of fun to attend. Hope you do a trip report on it and take lots of pics!

Cool idea, but I wonder if there would be a problem with electrolysis between the different metals in the presence of moisture such as sweat?
