There are a lot of great jewelry pieces on this forum, they have inspired me to get back into the hobby. I'm looking for ideas for non jewelry things to cut/polish. I don't wear jewelry, I don't have an interest in trying to sell it. I like cutting stone to unwind and relax, but I'm short on ideas of things to make. I've made a few sets of knife scales, I'm hoping you all many have some suggestions or ideas on other things to try.

You can also try continuing down through the Creations section to see what a lot of others have created. Pretty wide spread assortment from all the artists on here if you go all the way back

Are marbles and spheres ever done on a flat lap? I have only seen these made on a sphere machines, but maybe there is a trick to making these another way. I suppose someone had a way to do it before that machine was invented.
