I have been wrapping plenty but mostly the same old pudding stones and Fordite so I have not posted photos of those. I won an auction on a stunning slab of Kentucky agate and the seller was nice enough to toss an extra chunk in the box and I was able to get a couple slices off it in the trim saw by hand. This cab/wrap is off the freebie.    Never cabbed this particular agate before but it shines as good as any others  This is the original agate from the purchase. Might never cab this one. One of my most expensive slab purchases. The orange adds to the value on these.  Chuck |

great agate slab, really neat cab, I love the dotted line lace effect on that one...and the druzy peek hole. very unusual. true yellow- orange is so rare in agates... I wouldn't want to cut that either.

Those pics make me proud to be a Kentuckian. When I find something really nice I'd like to have in pendant form, we may have to talk trade. Maybe some material your way or something. We need to get to work, adam, and find everyone some nice stuff. |
