Hi All - I am branching out and have a new site. I don't know if you or anyone you may know is interested in this sort of thing, but it is to do with extremely complex patterns for coloring in - so for adults really. My new website is www.allfreeadultcoloringbooks.comand the forum from it is adultcoloringbooks.proboards.comIf you like the way this site is run (IE easy going I would hope perceived!!!) and you liked RTH AND there is potential for any of yourselves or friends doing the coloring hobby, please pass this on or visit to take a look at what its about. All free as usual. If you do go over to look any facebook/google+/Stumbles etc would be REALLY APPRECIATED to help out. It only went up today mostly (12 Sept 2015) so early days. All help appreciated and if you do the hobby - I hope you have fun with the free designs - some are a bit ropey as I am new to it - but some are quite good - there are about 180 to choose from. Cheers All Mark

I have a friend who is big into these and she got me started, I have infected a few others with gifts of these books. Something for every taste out there, and they are fun. supposed to be good for your brain, too.

I was never one to color within the lines…., though many find it relaxing --- a good thing.

I would actually have a good go at this if I had the time, and frame some designs as they look quite good when done. I don't know where people get the time from these days!

I used to read before bedtime, but found I was falling asleep any time I wanted to read. Now I do the coloring thing, and find I can read longer since I no longer read until I fall asleep. (I read at other times when reading does not = sleep!) Not a fanatic, just a useful tool for the purpose of shutting out bad thoughts and worries and focusing on something pleasant. As a retired person I have personal time now, a luxury I never had before. I highly recommend it.

I dont sleep much anymore - too stressed out! I watch TV (space programs) all night with the headphones on nodding in and out. Hopefully this will change one day! Thanks for joining - do you have a pic you could upload to the new forum of a coloring you have done?

Adult coloring books including the types that are risque were really popular with my nephew when he was in hospital getting cancer treatment. It gave his mind something to do during those days in bed. I guess I'm saying they make good gifts for convalescing people.

Adult coloring book craze booms in USnews.yahoo.com/adult-coloring-book-craze-booms-us-052729318.htmlNew York (AFP) - Intricate adult coloring books are the latest lifestyle craze to grip the United States, generating millions of fans, booming sales and libraries falling over themselves to host workshops.
Walk into any New York bookstore, and you'll find them artfully laid out on tables or filling entire shelves. Buyers can choose from Sanskrit patterns, urban landscapes, butterflies and flowers all offering "stress relieving patterns." The latest fashion? The swear word version.
Amazon sells hundreds of them, including nine on the top 20 bestseller list. Fans post their finished designs and swap tips on Facebook or Pinterest.more at link

Well, I'm for one! I love these coloring books and pages. Although, being a naturally lazy person, I prefer "computer coloring". I have downloaded paint.net, which is a free, but pretty good app. for coloring and photo editing. I download a pattern, I open it with paint.net, and I mostly "bucket-color" - ie. fill between the lines with the bucket tool. I've visited your site, very nice, very thoughtful - I will download some of your pattern, and I will post the done work done this way. If anybody else is interested to color with computer here is the link to the free coloring tool to download: www.getpaint.net/index.htmlHere is some of my works done with paint.net the same pattern using two different color scheme: and some 3D effect:
