I cannot afford that, but I live only 2 hours from that saw and I own a pick up.
If someone here buys it I can pick it up for you. I can also keep it in the dry at my house for as long as you need me to. Just another service I'm willing to provide to my RTH brothers and sisters at no charge. ;D ;D john
seriously, If I can help just ask.

I think it would be a lot less expensive to join the club that had the 50cent/lb sale, they have one just about like that that members can use, and Hayward isn't that far from SJ. I'm joining just so I don't have to impose on stoner when I need bigger stuff sliced, and because they have a lot of other great equipment and from who I met this weekend, I'd say they a lot of cool people too.

That sounds like a good deal. Moving it would require a low trailer with a ramp or an army of laborers. The Diamond Pacific 36" saw weighs 2,000 lbs. crated so I would guess the Highland Park would be about that. I moved my Highland Park 24" by myself and it was no picnic. I parked my trailer at the end of my sloping driveway and built an 8' long ramp. I got it rolling down the driveway and thought halfway down I wouldn't be able to stop it if anything went wrong. The wheels are very small for the weight and almost went through the plywood floor of the trailer.
