Hey folks! Well, I think there is enough interest in this to give it a go. (Keep posting on the other thread if you are interested.) OK-we can keep this simple and I can throw a challenge out there, OR we can discuss one and come up with a fav. We don't want to get too elaborate as that kinda defeats the purpose. So, I'll propose that we start with something pretty simple, like Fall. I think most of us would have no problem designing and doing a piece relating to our impressions of Fall. If that works, post your approval. If you would rather we all post our ideas and have a poll on the ideas, post your approval. If there appears to be no real preference, I'll just go with Fall. Come Oct, I'll post a thread for posting our work. Not many rules except that the piece should contain wire, a stone and/or beads. No soldering- it's not fair to those who don't know how. The piece must be new- made for this challenge. You should post a few sentences describing the piece and how you relate it to Fall. Remember- There is NO wrong or right. This is completely about your perceptions and creative expression. Can anyone think of anything else?? What do we call this?

Fall sounds good to me. How about just calling it the wire wrapper challenge, plain and simple?

You mean this kind of fall, right? Um no, but that would be a challenge to do in wire!

Hey, I like fault lines! But, I was thinking Fall (Autumn, if you prefer) because it would be a relatively easy one to start out with. I like the way you think, though.
