Hi all, I've been away for awhile more collecting rocks than actually doing anything with them :-) These are from rocks I've found in my travels. The red agate triangles are some of my first efforts at any shape other than round or oval. Still getting the hang of this, kinda put the cabbing on hold for awhile after some earlier frustrations. I've got an illuminated eye loop now and I'm more careful in between steps. I've also started using screws and super glue instead of dop wax. I'm so done with dop wax. Left top two are ones I found in Utah, the triangles and wood found in northern Colorado. This is the rock the triangles came from in its raw state

I especially like the shape of the triangle on the far right and the patterning inside the red oval.
Your domes look great! Glad you picked it up again.

looking good, Self hounded rocks are always more fun, and that red/clear wood is really nice
