It silicified straight down it's center axis, peculiar. About a 2 inch center axis silicification. Mystified about sawing it, at a foot long I can vise it and cut it long ways. But it has a point on each end. Strange silicifications from this spot in the river. it will be transparent in center and black on edges. Very spiny and abrasive, full of tiny silica needles. May have to saw one end off to get a grip at vise. The right side is dirty because it was sticking out in the river, the other end was impregnated in the tough clay. 5 foot pry bar spoke it out of the clay. Root side on left, sun eating side on right. Just as it was stuck in the clay. From a protected(being underwater) claim. So coral pirate kap can not find it. He is treasonous. And rules the river with a Thai Junker. W/first mate @munchie Rotate him 90 degrees

now I have got to see what is inside of that monster. Clamping/fixing is always the challenging part. I use a 3 pronged clamping claw for oddball stuff like this, found it on ebay.
