To keep memories of last months trip alive, I use this calcite to try and impose some of the things that I liked best. My favorite mountain as a youngster and still is today Some flowers that we where looking for And of course our encounter with some locals So now I stumble mostly on the head of the Ibex, but otherwise, I think its coming along fairly well Thanks for looking, Kurt

Great pictures and very inspired way to keep them fresh in your memory. I like the Edelweiss with the mountain in the background very much. The encounter with the mountain goat - I would had been a bit concerned about it.

They are short-sighted and can see you only within 20 meters. So when you get that close they might be rather nervous (first of all as young ones where just born a month ago). But we where the first up on that mountain that day, and he did not seem to be too disturbed by our presence, continuing to nibble on his grass, so we gave it a try. But at ten meters, I thought, it is close enough, so we did not try to get closer than that.

Kurt, that's a great way to memorialize memories and trips. Great idea. And really nice photos. Looking forward to seeing the progress. Paul
