Wow, I certainly didn't expect this - not until Saturday, anyways, lol. Jaaaaames!! Yeah, what captbob said, you are aging me prematurely.
That's okay, I will graciously accept everyone's birthday wishes now, and start celebrating two days early.
Ed Intheswamp, - Yes, 29! How did you know? Actually, I've lapped that one and then some. That's okay, age is just a number, you are as old as you feel. Right now, I am in better shape and feel better than I have in the last 25 years. I owe it all to the inspiration from my secret sauce . Now that we are on the brink of WW3, how much does it matter? Will enjoy every day the good Lord gives me!
Enough of the glumness, how 'bout a math quiz to figure my age? My dog Lucy will be 10 years old on December 21st of this year. The test is, figure out what her age is today, and convert it to dog years. My age is 84.76% of that number. mohs, are you up to the challenge?
Thank you all for the birthday wishes (still two more days to go), and for being here! I think of you all as family.

Thank you, James. I don't mind it a little early, but let's not do multiple posts again. It confuses some people! Besides, one birthday a year is enough...

Thank you all for the birthday wishes (still two more days to go), and for being here! I think of you all as family. I like a little math every now and then. I'll give this a shot. Dec 21 is the 355th day of the year. Oct 1 is the 274th. So 355-274 = 81 days shy of 10 years old. So Lucy's current age is 10 - (81/365) = 9.78 years So dog years to human years is 9.78 x 7 = 68.4 human years 84.76% converted to decimal is 0.8476 68.4 years * 0.8476 = Jean's turning 58!

micellular, correct, very good! I'm glad someone was brave enough to take a stab at it, lol. I went at it from a different direction, took a few extra steps. I usually get where I am going, just don't always take the most direct route. (GIGO, lol.)
