Happy to be here! Am new to here, but have been into rockhounding for yrs. ( images of The Long Trailer anyone??) Still an amateur, but wildly enthusiastic. Have mined amyethest in Canada, Quartz in Arkansas, Flint in Ohio,I will pick up stones just about anywhere....LOL My best find was a small blue boulder/rock in the Mohave...I think Calcite, in the yrs since it's been here it's built up more crud on the outside & doubled in weight? Eventually I will bust it open to see what it really is, but for now it's a mystery. Steves posts on Blue Mountain Jasper led me here....an I thought my lust for a slab of Larimar ( pectolite) was going to bankrupt me!!! Hahahahahaha Nice to meet y'all!!!
