I just got back from Topaz Mountain Utah and collected some nice specimens. Did not know geodes could have topaz, but I found one.

Looks like you are still learning! LOL I had a learning curve myself. When I see the box, I delete it and try something different. Keep trying!

I assume those are specimens to be left intact. Did you find any loose topaz to cut?

I will leave the pictured specimens intact. Although I did find loose amber topaz in the 1" range, they were partially sand crusted, and I am not sure what would be the minimum size for cutting. My friend digging with me found a vein with clean amber topaz specimens in the 1 - 1 1/2" range.

Nice to see you had success!
