The loto, or it's double mate, seems a lot more cost effective than the VT-12 (although I'd love to own one!)

The loto, or it's double mate, seems a lot more cost effective than the VT-12 (although I'd love to own one!) rastageezer I have both and the VT will flat out work the Lot-o if you have a large quantity rock to tumble. It just depends what and how much and what you want to do. Some of us have went overboard in this hobby. I take that back, some of us have gotten a little more 'involved' in the hobby............................MrP

I have the VT-14 and have to agree the Viking is the man! It's quieter than the Lot-O as well. Lot-O only holds 4lbs max and the VT-12 is what 12lbs?
Viking is easier to clean out and remove rocks. lot-o is a bit of a pain sometimes.

Mine is a mean machine. 1/3 HP @3600 RPM helps. Not convinced it is the best for softer rocks though.
