I've been looking for days with no luck.... where can I find stone slabs that are 1" thick? I want to make home made ear plugs but I need them to be at least 12 mm thick and the thickest I can find is 5.75mm thanks!

All ya gotta do is ask! Many here would be delighted to sell you thick slabs.
What type material (rocks) are you looking for?
And, welcome to the forum!
ETA: 32141 as in over by Daytona?

Slabs are not typically cut 1" thick. You'll need someone to cut them for you as a special order. Do you have material for slabbing?

Don, you are thinking like a cab maker and not like a rock tumbler I cut far more 1 inch, or thicker, slabs to break up for tumbler fodder than I cut thin slabs as used to cab. Cutting thick slabs is also much easier, as there is no need to be precise.
