I'm looking to buy a fairly inexpensive used flat lap. Anyone know where I can get one? All the ones on eBay, etc seem like they are new and pretty expensive. I am just starting out on cutting and polishing and didn't want to spend a bunch of money right now. Not looking for fancy, just one that works and will hold up. Thanks

What does that translate to in dollars? There's a 8 inch Hi Tech in the local Craigslist going for $250 with what looks like a full set of laps and toppers. I have no idea where you live but surely stuff like that comes up there. I would like to stay under $300 if possible. I have been watching Craigslist and eBay. Craigslist has nothing close by (South Carolina) and eBay hasn't had anything in my range. I will check out the eBay post tonight and see if its a good buy. I don't mind purchasing the laps separately. Thanks

I don't have a flat lap, but I've got a highland park model A50 that will cab and polish, but would like a little more money for it. i'm 45 min. from the s.c. border.
