Ha ha, I think this deer is steaks and sausage by now.
The deer got me this morning. Headed off to hunt half asleep on my ATV w/out brakes. It jumped out of first gear going down monster hill and slammed into the other side of creek. Face planted and shoulders bruised to no end. Scope off 12 inches to right and 10 inches to the low @ 70. Resighted, but concerned about bent scope. Now got 4 cuts on face LOL. OMG, right(good) shoulder killin me. Just bruised(I think). Resighted on a pillow so it 270 kick back would not aggravate shoulder further. What a looser.

Can not lift a cigarette with right arm, shoulder aching good. Seems only bruised. Yes, a padded bubble, one of those 12 footers. Front forks on ATV bent back an inch, rides fine though. Testimony to how hard I hit. CRS what happened.

James, I hope you have now come to realize that you are not bulletproof! Remember, the older you get (BIG brudder, lol), the longer it takes to heal. (You can buy a new scope.) Glad you were not seriously (that's kind of a relative term, no?) injured. Hope it was worth it. You can pull the front forks back out using a come-along. Maybe get the brakes fixed while you're at it.
Oh, and nice buck your buddy shot. Too bad for Kyle...

The big story is the visiting infamous mighty orrum. Never a dull moment, Bill is a wealth of entertainment. Some things money can't buy. This man has the nomadic life down to an art. Some folks got it figured out. Horse tied out in garden area. Darn horse loves dogs. Never seen such. Friend Chris shot a buck last night. Bill was giving him lots of tips while Chris butchered it. Chris just arrived from Orlando, 2 hours later dragging a buck in. The little story is I can't lift a cup of coffee with either arm, much less a rifle. Just sore. Will lay down today, maybe Bill will tuck me in. Bill ? Was already scheduled for surgery this month on left shoulder. listening and agreeing rockpickerforever

Light crispy thin crust for lwith two inches of meat n veggy love drenched in ouhy gooy melted cheese! I woke up this mornin wanting anothrr slice! They call it a Pie and it's served by the slice. Two slices is more than I can eat! Plus they bring ya a salad in a gallon bowl!!!! Plus 4 of us ate for less than $30!

Pizza was 'Oz'. Took some water to the horse. Never been around horses. That is one sweet animal. Denise a horse girl back in the day. I think Chips brought a lot of memories back to her. Never seen such a muscular horse. Not tall, but well proportioned stout. Will try to get photos. We had a lot of things going on. Pleasure, problems and duties. Thanks for helping out Bill. Darn rain set the south back, TG it is out of here. Going to doctor tomorrow for x-rays. Betting the right shoulder socket is broken, it would be second time. Pain familiar. Good thing, it does not normally require surgery. Maybe breastplate w/deep bruise at left collar bone connection. Me in pain and worse helpless. Have Bil over sometime Jimi broseph82, you guys would have a blast.

Yeah, what captbob said - Where's the hoss pics, jamesp? Still waiting
Ya put Mr. Chips in your garden so you could get free fertilizer? Hope none of your "bent haired dogs" (as Bill calls them) sampled any of it, lol.
Don't know what it is about dogs and road apples...
ETA - Let us all know what the x-rays showed, and if you are going to live or not.

I doubt you are outside welding, so how are you doing James? Hope the doc visit is good news and that Denise is attending to all your personal needs. Maybe a nice foot massage would help.
Wish you a speedy (and painless) recovery!
